He is former player manager with the infamous MIT Blackjack teams and is a regular attendee of the Blackjack Ball, a gathering of the world’s top professional gamblers. For the casino, this is good – for the player, this is bad, so the shorter amount of reverse time the better the score. Needless to say – casinos with zero reverse time get the highest rating. Cash out time – same thing, the quicker a casino pays out, the better the score. Search players, rankings, news, events and venues. GPI Score calculator. This is the most accurate and detailed rating system in the industry – hands down. We rate casinos by their forum participation, software, licensing jurisdiction, reverse time, payout time, withdrawal limits, whether or not they pay out on weekends, and a whole lot more. No one else in the online gambling industry is doing this. Players get a fair deal at Casinomeister.
At Casinomeister, we have a rating system that is unique and is probably the best rating system out there. We rate casinos on a number of categories which directly affect a player’s experience. You won’t find this anywhere else – trust me, you won’t.
The categories which are scrutinized are the following:
Software Platforms
Licensing jurisdictions
Reverse times
Cashout times
Weekly withdrawal limits
And miscellaneous categories which I’ll get to in a moment.
Let’s start with Software –
What is taken into account is how many software platforms the casino uses (casino games, poker, sports, live games, etc.). Also what is considered are the amount of games – and how many providers are being used.
The bottom line is that the score is based on how a casino can meet players’ needs.
All Platforms = highest score. These are casinos like 32Red, Bet365, Genting Casino, Nordicbet – Borgata in the States – these casinos have it all – sports, lottery, casino games, live games, etc. etc. etc. So they are scored highest in this category.
Then you have casinos that have some platforms – they receive a high score in this category – like Rizk Casino, LeoVegas, Novibet – they have more than two gaming platforms – like casino games, live games, and poker for instance. They are scored high.
Scoring medium in this category are those casinos that have few platforms – usually just slots and live games – this in the majority of the casinos on the site – it’s average – thus an average score.
Some casinos have only slots – and if it’s not an exuberant amount of slots – again an average score.
Some casinos have only one provider – like RTG – thus a lower score
So – now let’s talk jurisdictions.
Each jurisdiction is responsible for its licensees, and those jurisdictions that have benchmark standards are rated highest – those that have a laissez faire attitude or little to no infrastructure to properly handle player issues are rated lowest.
In essence, we are looking at jurisdictions from a player’s perspective – what jurisdiction is the most responsive, transparent, and will take immediate action on the player’s behalf if things go pear-shaped with an operator. The jurisdiction that comes out on top is the Kahnawake Gaming Commission. They, in my opinion set the standard. They have been reporting on their player issues with a public posting of their player complaints on an annual basis for several years now. No other jurisdiction is doing this. They have also been ahead of the game when it comes to players excluding themselves, and other responsible gaming tools. So they get the highest rating.
The jurisdictions that are rated “high” are the UK Gaming Commission, the Malta Gaming Authority, and the New Jersey Division of Gaming Enforcement, Ise of man, etc.
Low scoring jurisdictions are the ones in the Caribbean which generally seem to be more concerned on how many bong hits they are doing than player security.
Next section – reverse time. This is the time that the casino holds your funds while you wait for your cash out to be processed. During this time, you are able to play back your winnings – these funds are available to play. For the casino, this is good – for the player, this is bad, so the shorter amount of reverse time the better the score. Needless to say – casinos with zero reverse time get the highest rating.
Cash out time – same thing, the quicker a casino pays out, the better the score.
Now you may be asking, where does this information come from? At first, we post the times that the casino claims to be correct, and then we give the Meister Minions the opportunity to play at these casinos, and they submit their data. Additionally, I play at these casinos when I can – so I am also able to get that first hand as well.
Weekly withdrawal limits – many casinos have a limit on how much you can withdraw each week. Obviously those casinos that have no limits get the highest score.
Other areas that are taken into consideration: is the casino part of a publicly traded company? Yes or no – yes, they get a higher score. Being part of a publicly traded company is an indicator that the casino has been or is under scrutiny by not only its licensing jurisdiction, but by its shareholders.
Weekend pay outs – yes or no. Yes? More points.
They get points for the length of time they’ve been in operation – longevity in this industry is an indicator of a well managed company. They also get points for the length of time they have been accredited.
And then there are the meister points – how involved are they with Casinomeister – do they get involved with the forum, do they post exclusive offers for our members, do they get involved in some of the discussions players have about gaming software, playing strategies, or other cerebral topics. Are they recipients of Casinomeister awards. Do they buy me beer? no just kidding – I live in Beerland and can afford my own beer.
Do they adhere to the Casinomeister philosophy on how players should be treated.? So – you get my drift, Right?
Our rating system is by far the most awesome rating system out there. And it allows you to be able to choose an accredited casino that matches what you personally feel is important. On each casino review page, I describe how the casino fares in its rating.
So, play smart, be cool, and become a member of our Accredited Casinos.
